Jesse Autumn returns to Santa Cruz from New Orleans for an intimate candlelit concert of music for voice, piano and harp, with guitarist Bill Walker & new paintings by artist Sarah Bianco. Concert followed by an informal Q & A and refreshments with the composer & the artist. Jesse and Sarah are often inspired by each other’s work, and are excited to share their music and art in a collaborative show. Jesse Autumn writes music in the realm of surrealist chamber folk, often compared to artists like Tori Amos, Regina Spektor and Bjork. She is also known for her mastery of the harp, and teaches harp both in New Orleans and online to students nationwide. She conducts the harp orchestra for the Santa Cruz Harp Festival each year. She has two recordings of original music, “Live EP” and “Bright Stars”, available from iTunes, and numerous albums of world music arranged for harp and instrumental ensembles.
