Mira Michelle Kennedy: “Disassembled”

Please join us for this showcasing of mixed media artwork exploring the experience of becoming a new mother during the pandemic through the lens of ecopsychology and expressive arts.

Mira Michelle Kennedy has worked in the arts for over fifteen years. She has shown her artwork throughout the Bay Area and internationally in Nepal. She was the museum pick for the International Museum of Women, and she was a member of the San Francisco Women Artists Gallery. Mira was an art teacher for over a decade, facilitating arts the public schools. Mira holds a degree in Art from UCSC. She received a master’s degree in psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and taught as adjunct faculty in their graduate program. The fields of ecopsychology, expressive arts, and community resilience all influence her current mixed media artwork, which explores our connection with and disconnection from the natural world.
